It is the week of Valentine's day and love (and panic) is in the air. It is time to come up with ways to sweep your significant other off their feet. The problem is with the pandemic, there are fewer jobs and fewer places to go. This doesn't mean you can't still sweep them off their feet! So to help with your lovers woes I have come up with some ideas to sweep your babe off their feet.

A nice dinner in

So this is a pretty standard date right now but you can really do this one up for the holiday. You don't even have to be a great chief for this, you can find some really simple recipes that fit the theme. Italian is one of the easiest and more romantic foods you can make for the date. From there turn on your spotify to set the mood and light some scented candles! If you really want to make it special you can watch a few napkin folding tutorials and some easy decor ideas to really add that last touch to bring it from just a regular dinner to a nice date night! Even if the food isn't great, your partner will appreciate the effort you put in!

A well thought out gift basket!

The best and cheapest places to go is the dollar tree! You can get a lot of bang for your buck, and they have a little of everything. Start with a favorite color for the basket itself, and try to find one that sort of fits their style. Then think of their interests, if they do adult coloring books grab one and some pencils. If they grill get them some grilling supplies. If they like beauty products choose some of those. Then go to the snacks and get some of their favorites! Do the same for candy! Then maybe pick up a stuffed animal of their favorite animal, or some sort of cute keepsake that they will like. If you really know your partner the thought that goes into one of these will sweep them off their feet!

Movie night in!

Much like the dinner night in, if you put in the right amount of effort and a little pizzazz this one can really be romantic! Get some popcorn, and some of their (and your) favorite candies. If they don't like popcorn get their favorite snack food. You can even have snack foods for dinner and have a litte buffet of snack foods. Get it all ready before they come home and let them pick the movie from your favorite streaming service. Bonus tip popcorn and candy is amazing when mixed together.
